Blake Coleman

Manager, FGP Technology

Blake leads the FGP Technology team with more than 10 years of technical recruiting experience. He has a strong background with the company, holding positions in Executive Search, Business Development, Technical Recruiting, and Sourcing. He is extremely active in the business, serving as Account Manager for key client relationships and assists on all FGP Tech retained searches.

In his first year with FGP as a Healthcare IT Search Consultant, Blake was named the company’s “Rookie of the Year.” After leaving for a brief time in 2009/2010 to try his hand in the technology startup arena, Blake returned to FGP to join the FGP Tech team as an IT Recruiter and was awarded the company’s “Great by Choice” honor. Upon moving from the Recruiter chair into Business Development, Blake has been recognized as the “Top Biller.”

One of Blake’s biggest passions is centered on computer science outreach initiatives at the K-12 level. He actively volunteers during Computer Science Education Week, coding boot camps, Google’s CS First program (directed at middle schoolers) and Hour of Code events. Blake is a member of the Computer Science Teachers Association, and speaks to area students about career paths in Computer Science and IT.

Previously, Blake served as Channel Director for a national network security and disaster recovery hardware and software manufacturer. He started his career out of college in retail management. He is a graduate of the University of Georgia.
