Michael Finegold

Managing Director, Executive Search

Michael Finegold serves as a Managing Director for McDermott + Bull, based in the firm’s Southern California headquarters. Michael and his team work with private equity firms, corporate clients, and private businesses focused in industrial manufacturing, aerospace + defense, and technology. His relationships and involvement in the community and his experience as a former small business owner have contributed to making McDermott + Bull the leading retained executive search firm in Southern California.

Previously, Michael was Owner and General Manager of Colvin Finegold LLC, a small business in Arizona that focused on restaurant franchising. Founding the company straight out of college, Michael learned all aspects of running a full P&L, managing over 60 employees, and ultimately selling the business to focus full time at McDermott + Bull.

Michael is active in the philanthropic community, serving as a mentor and volunteer for Walk With Sally, a non-profit providing mentoring and community support services to empower children experiencing trauma through a parent, guardian, or sibling’s cancer journey. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business communications from Arizona State University and is a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt.
