Jeff Black serves as a Partner for McDermott + Bull. His retained search practice, named “The Fit Practice,” focuses on helping companies realize an ideal fit between executive talent and their culture and values. Jeff’s clients include many culturally rich and socially responsible companies, including: Golden State Foods, Honda Center/Anaheim Ducks, Panda Restaurant Group, Oakwood Worldwide, BJ’s Restaurants, LA BioMed, Niagara Bottling, Santa Monica Seafood, Orange County United Way, Orange County Goodwill, King’s Hawaiian, Sunworks, PRIDE Industries, and Scooter’s Coffee.
Prior to joining McDermott + Bull, Jeff served as Vice President of Commercial Services for Raytheon Technical Services Company, a $2B global services subsidiary of the Raytheon Company, and a leading manufacturer of aerospace, defense, and information systems products.
Jeff’s purpose in his personal support of the nonprofit community is to mobilize increased volunteerism among Orange County professionals to serve nonprofit and charitable organizations. He serves on the Board of Directors of OneOC, is a founding member of the Board of Advisors for the Institute for Community Impact, and was Co-Founder of DifferenceMakersOC.
Jeff is married with two adult children and resides in Yorba Linda, California. He received a bachelor’s degree in business management and an MBA in finance, both from California State University, Fullerton.
