Not Actively Looking Launches Ezekia

June 13, 2019 – Not Actively Looking, a London-based executive candidate portal, has officially launched its complete browser-based executive search system under the brand name “Ezekia.” Prior to the formal launch as a separate product, the system debuted in April 2018 and has been adopted by a number of search firms in the Americas, Asia and Europe.

“Ezekia was created to fill an urgent need in the executive search market,” said Joseph Blass, CEO of Ezekia and Not Actively Looking. “The search systems from existing providers are often overly complex. The Ezekia system is designed to be simple, easy-to-use, and customizable, yet at the same time retaining all the essential functionality that search firms need to manage their business.”

Ezekia covers every aspect of the executive search process, from tracking business development activity, through to management of the assignment, GDPR compliance and online client reporting. “This simplicity and ease-of-use are essential in allowing everyone in the firm from the managing partner down to use the system,” said Mr. Blass.

A Simple System

Anthony Harling, co-founder and director of Ezekia and Not Actively Looking, and a 30-year veteran of the executive search industry, said that ease of use is central to the system. “Search systems that are too complex and difficult to use are not much use to anyone,” he said. “We’ve deliberately built Ezekia to be the most intuitive, flexible and simple system available to the search industry. Our clients are amazed at how easy it has been to switch from their legacy system to Ezekia and get everyone in the firm up and running. This is changing the way that search firms operate.”

In parallel to launching the Ezekia brand, Not Actively Looking also announced its new Career Management Portal for senior executives registered on the Not Actively Looking candidate system.

As well as making valuable search firm connections, senior executives who register on the Not Actively Looking system will be able to access a wealth of categorized career related content, attend regular webinars and access a carefully selected, verified directory of executive coaches and other third party service providers to help them in all aspects of career management, said Not Actively Looking.

A Matchmaking Platform

“Our customers, who until recently were on legacy systems tell us that the biggest difference between their old systems and Ezekia is that they actually use Ezekia because they want to and not because they feel compelled,” said Mr. Blass. “It is good to have developed services that are simultaneously helping both the search firms and senior executives.”
