Kennedy Executive Search Adds New Partner in Germany

December 13, 2019 – Kennedy Executive Search, a network of independent executive search firms, has added Adrian & Roth Personalberatung as its newest member firm. With the new partner office in Munich, Kennedy Executive gains an even stronger presence in Germany and the German-speaking markets.

Adrian & Roth (A&R) was founded in 2002. The firm has more than 20 years of experience in executive search in a variety of hi-tech industries such as semiconductor, electronics, software, telecommunication and more.

The firm bears the name of its two founders, Florian Roth and Jürgen Adrian. Before starting A&R, they were both partners with human resources consulting firm Page Consulting in Munich. Mr. Roth is an engineer by trade with a degree in RF electronics. He held various roles for companies in microelectronics before he entered the recruiting industry. In one role, he was responsible for recruitment in the semiconductor industry, a specialty of A&R to this day.

Mr. Adrian started his professional career in sales. He joined the search industry in 1995 when he worked for a personnel consulting firm.

A&R has a staff of 13, each with specific industry expertise. Clients range from large established names to small and medium-sized companies. The firm also offers coaching, training, teambuilding, outplacement consultancy, benchmark analysis and more.

“At A&R we take pride in being a partner for both our clients and candidates,” Mr. Roth said. “We support both with advice and guidance and regard ourselves as career coaches as well as professional recruiters and executive searchers. Our loyalty and long-term relationships with our clients and candidates alike, resulted in a placement rate of more than 95 percent. This is also due to our extensive knowledge and skills in the industries and sectors we cater to.”

“Joining a network like Kennedy will offer us a chance to explore different territories and branch out into other industries,” said Mr. Adrian. Many of our clients operate beyond Germany, and through Kennedy, we can help them on a global level, with the same boutique approach they are used to from us. Vice versa, we feel we can be of help to the other partners for their clients looking to recruit in Germany or other German-speaking territories. It’s a win-win for everybody. The added bonus is that the people in the network are all small business owners like us, who believe in the power of synergy to better ourselves and those we help,” he said.

Germany is one of the world’s leading economies and the largest in Europe,” said Jorg Stegemann, founder and chairman of Kennedy. “All our partners, no matter where they are from, have clients who are German, have offices in Germany, or do business with or in German-speaking markets. Among the partners, German is also the most spoken language in the network.”

“Further to the satellite offices in Munich and Frankfurt of our Austrian partner Unterberger & Partner, we needed a dedicated German partner,” he said. “Many of the prospect partners we spoke to didn’t make the cut for various reasons, but A&R fit the bill perfectly. One of, if not the most important of all criteria is the click. Without this, nobody will benefit, including the client. Both Florian and Jürgen have the right attitude to make this a successful match. Their professionalism, specific expertise and established name complete the mix. We are thrilled to have them and their team on board.”

Global Expansion

Kennedy Executive Search offers “360 talent management,” as the firm calls it – from executive search to coaching during a placement’s integration period, and a host of other talent and leadership consulting services. With Unterberger & Partner joining, the network now has offices in Austria, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Monaco, Switzerland, the Netherlands and the U.S.

In October, Kennedy Executive Search added Miami-headquartered Talent Corporate Solutions as a member firm. The new partner also has offices in Brazil and Mexico. Talent Corporate Solutions is a retained executive search firm specializing in strategic, complex, and confidential C-suite and senior management positions for the Latin America business units of multinational companies. The firm was founded by industry veteran Federico Sucari.

The organization also expanded into Washington, D.C. with the addition of TH Bender as a member firm. TH Bender has completed over 300 search assignments, 90 percent commissioned by companies outside of the U.S., including dozens for country managers guiding the North American operations of European and Asian corporations. The firm focuses on the recruiting needs of non-American companies across the high-tech, industrial, financial, life-sciences, energy and automotive industries. Tilman Bender, who still leads many of its search assignments, founded the company in 2005.
