AIMS Managing Partner Thailand Takehiko Ono

March 15, 2018 – AIMS International has expanded with the addition of Takehiko Ono as managing partner of AIMS Thailand.

Mr. Ono has over 20 years of experience in executive search and the HR industry. Before joining AIMS, he served several industry sectors, including automotive, IT and telecommunications. As managing director of a recruiting company, he staffed foreign engineers for manufacturing companies in Japan from Thailand, Vietnam and China as well as searched for executives in these countries. Mr. Ono is also experienced in strategically planning for new opportunities in ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) countries, which will be further explored with the various cross-border business initiatives AIMS International now offers.

“We are delighted to witness further expansion of our AIMS family – having reliable partners throughout the world who deeply understand their local markets while promoting international cooperation is a true asset,” said Pierangelo Favero, president of AIMS. “Our new AIMS Thailand partner will surely further strengthen our presence in the APAC region.”

Takehiko Ono, who is fluent in Japanese and English as well as understands Spanish and Thai, regards Thailand as a growing economy with many interesting business opportunities to be explored. “Joining the AIMS international network therefore equips me with valuable connections and relationships amongst global AIMS partners, as well as enables outstanding servicing of local, regional and international clients,” he said.

Thailand is newly industrialized and the economy is emerging. It functions as an anchor economy for the neighboring developing economies of Laos, Myanmar and Cambodia. Substantial industries include electric appliances, components, computer components and vehicles. Forty-nine percent of Thailand’s labor force is employed in agriculture.
