AIMS International Adds New Member Firm in Africa

AIMS International added Excellia Capital Humain Tunisia

November 14, 2017 – Executive search consultants are seeing an increase in hiring mandates from around the world. To meet the demand, they continue to develop new practices, hire new recruiters and open new locations.

Global recruiting consortiums, meanwhile, are taking advantage of a resurgence in certain geographic areas.

AIMS International recently added Excellia Capital Humain in Tunisia, Africa as its newest member firm.

With over 15 years of experience in executive search and strategy and leadership consulting, Excellia Capital Humain is led by managing partner Ines Bouharb. Her firm has led executive search projects from C-Level to senior professionals across several industries including engineering, IT, FMCG, power supply and many others. Excellia Capital Humain also offers expertise in talent management services such as assessments, training and executive coaching.

Leonie Pentz, VP MEA at AIMS International, said the scope of Excellia’s offerings make it the perfect partner for AIMS. “We are super excited to have Ines and her team on board, in fact the business immediately felt like a seamless fit for our ‘find and grow’ strategy and from our very first meeting, the synergies were on point.”

“We are enthusiastic to be part of AIMS International and fostering Africa and the Middle East cluster,” said Ms. Bouharb, whose title becomes managing partner AIMS International Tunisia. “With the globalized and fast paced context, the synergy created with the AIMS network will give us the agility to meet our global clients’ very specific needs. Moreover, we will be able to offer expertise in a wide range of fields and sectors globally with the assurance of the highest quality and efficiency. My team and I are looking forward to collaborating with AIMS partners and consultants.”

Prior to founding Excellia Capital Humain in 2009, Ms. Bouharb served as an executive search consultant with RHR Expert.

Continued Growth

This spring, AIMS added Norway-headquartered search firm RUUD Executive. The firm is led by managing partner Tor-Egil Ruud, who has over 17 years of experience in recruitment, executive search, and leadership services from several national and international market-leading companies. He has conducted over 250 national and international assignments.

AIMS recently entered the Chicago market with the addition of executive search firm Alder Bowman. The firm is led by president and managing director David Williger, who has achieved a demonstrable record of leading executive search and talent acquisition engagements across all functional disciplines.

“Chicago is a very important location for AIMS International and this addition to our organization greatly enhances our ability to serve globally based clients with operations in the U.S. Midwest,” said Bernardo Entschev, global VP and EVP Americas at AIMS. “Considering the high concentration of companies here with global operations, I believe we now have a competitive advantage to enable them to meet their global talent acquisition objectives.”

In addition, AIMS also appointed South Africa partner Leonie Pentz to lead its energy practice. Ms. Pentz is an executive search professional with 20-plus years’ experience in the recruitment industry and extensive exposure to the utilities, downstream and renewable energy segments in the SADC region.

“We are constantly sharing knowledge about recent industry trends and business development actions across our nine global practice teams,” said Pierangelo Favero, AIMS International’s president. “This enables AIMS consultants to constantly deliver exceptional results for clients all over the world.”

As an outgrowth of its expansion plans, AIMS also expanded into Albania where it has been implementing all of the human capital advisory services of Dynamics Partners, which has been providing executive search and HR consulting services in Albania and Kosovo for the last 10 years. The firm has a portfolio of roughly 500 completed search assignments.
