Cornerstone International Adds Member Firm In Brazil

March 3, 2016 – Cornerstone International Group, a global executive search and leadership development firm, has added four new offices in Brazil with the addition of Technique Search.

“We are very pleased to welcome Nahid Chicani and his team at Technique Search to our world network,” said Cornerstone president Larry Shoemaker. “Latin America is one of our key regions and it is a great advantage to have such a strong footprint in a market as big as Brazil.”

Cornerstone Brazil will be based in Sao Paulo, with additional offices in Rio de Janeiro, Manaus and Campinas. The firm has a team of 10 senior consultants and specializes in assessments, recruiting and leadership counseling for positions that include senior executives, board directors and managerial & specialist positions.

Technique Search’s talent management services include career planning & development, board and senior management assessment, and board & management counseling, which includes initial alignment of expectations and personal careers.

Other recruiting firms and consortiums have expanded their services in Brazil in recent months.

Just last week, ZRG Partners established a footprint in Brazil with the addition of Denys Monteiro as CEO. He was most recently CEO of Fesa, Brazil’s largest independent executive search firm, where he served for 18 years.

As part of that deal, ZRG added four additional managing directors in Brazil, all former Fesa search consultants. Aldo Bergamasco joined in São Paulo where he now heads the firm’s consumer goods practice. Rodrigo Byrro also joined in São Paulo, where he serves as head of TMT. Geraldo Teixeira is co-located in the firm’s São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro offices, where he heads the firm’s insurance practice and serves as a member of ZRG’s financial services and industrial practices. Leonardo Ribeiro, also co-located in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, now heads the firm’s education and healthcare practices and serves as a member of the firm’s life sciences, consumer and TMT practices.

Panorama, a global network of independent executive search firms with 20 offices and over 50 partners across Europe, North America and the Asian Pacific, recently added Brazil-headquartered executive search firm EXEC to its global network. EXEC was established in 2009 as a boutique consultancy; its business offerings include search & selection, and leadership & organizational advisory services. Co-managed by an advisory board, EXEC has offices in Sao Paulo, Campinas, Brazil and Rio de Janeiro.

This past fall, Agilium Worldwide, LLC elected Plongê Consultoria Capital Humano in São Paulo, Brazil, to join its network. Comprised of four founding partners and 12 consultants, Plongê Consultora is a consulting firm focused on people and management. Founder Renata Dolabella Fabrini has over 20 years of experience in executive search. Prior to co-founding Plongê, she was a partner with Fesa where she led its financial services practice in Brazil and Latin America. She also served as co-head of global financial services at IIC Partners.
