Paul Gaeke serves as partner for Jobplex, Inc., a DHR International company, a global retained executive search firm.

Paul brings more than 20 years of executive search experience to Jobplex. Prior to joining Jobplex, Paul founded Streamside Professional Search, a multi-disciplined, national search firm. Before that, Paul worked at NAREX, a start-up software company, which was sold to FICO. He was also a managing director at Spherion, at the time a $4B public company, and launched the firm’s Charlotte, NC office.

Paul has successfully managed and conducted assignments to recruit emerging leaders to senior-level executives in engineering, advanced technology, human resources, supply chain, sales and operations. His clients range in size from middle market companies ($50M to $2B in revenue) to fortune 500 companies across a broad range of industries including; manufacturing, food production & distribution, healthcare, consulting, energy, chemicals, oil & gas, and mining.

Prior to working in the search industry, Paul held technical sales and management roles with Betz Laboratories (GE Power & Water) working in refineries and chemical plants across the gulf coast and mid-western USA. Paul started his career with Westvaco, now known as MWV.

Paul is a frequent guest speaker on issues of recruitment and human capital practices at Colorado School of Mines and University of Denver-Daniels College of Business. His experience with global clients and entrepreneurial spirit provides him with an in depth understanding of the strategic issues and leadership challenges facing companies. His strengths come from understanding how talent builds competitive advantage and provides his clients with great leaders across every stage of organizational growth.

Paul graduated from the University of Toledo with a Bachelor’s of Science Mechanical Engineering.  He is an avid fly-fisherman & outdoor enthusiast and has lived and worked in Colorado since 2000, raising three children with his wife Maureen.
