Benjamin Godfrey

Ben Godfrey serves as partner in Chicago, IL for Jobplex, Inc., a DHR International company. He joined Jobplex in May 2009.

Prior to joining Jobplex, Mr. Godfrey spent three years as a consultant with the global search firm Michael Page International in Boston and Chicago. He completed numerous mid- to senior-level assignments in the Midwest and Eastern regions of the United States for banking and financial service professionals.

Mr. Godfrey focuses on banking & financial services and finance searches from the Manager to Senior Director levels. His clients range from Fortune 50 multinationals to small private equity backed companies across the country. In the corporate space he has completed searches in the technology, industrial, retail, power & utilities, consumer, pharmaceutical, and distribution. In the banking and financial service sector he has completed searches for corporate/investment bankers, risk, operations, compliance, sales/trading, and finance/accounting professionals.

He has a nationwide network of finance professionals, which enables him to quickly develop a candidate pool anywhere in the country. He takes pride in creating a true partnership with his clients via open, honest communication and sense of urgency to find the best talent.

Prior to transitioning into the search industry, Mr. Godfrey worked for Bank of America as a credit analyst and as a commercial banker with Fifth Third Bank in Michigan.

A Michigan native, Mr. Godfrey attended Albion College and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish while playing for the men’s soccer team. He currently resides in Naperville with his wife Nikki and two kids, Logan and Karina.
