Based out of the firm’s Denver, Colorado office, Martin T. Coover serves as Partner.

Martin came to DHR International with more than a decade of domestic and international corporate experience. Having served in various marketing management and communications leadership positions across the education, international non-profit, retail, and food & beverage segments, Martin utilizes an in-depth understanding of the global workplace to bring a unique and focused perspective to the world of executive search.

Currently in his sixth year with the firm, Martin specializes in the placement of executives in Sales, Marketing, HR, Finance, and Operations functions with a passion for software, advanced technology, industrial, healthcare services organizations, and a breadth of experience working across private equity and venture capital-backed companies. Never straying too far from his education roots, Martin also currently serves as a member of the Board of Trustees at dual-language urban elementary school Escuela de Guadalupe, the Corporate Work Study Program Board at low-income high school Arrupe Jesuit, and is a founding member of the Emerging Leader Advisory Council at the Denver Scholarship Foundation.

Prior to moving to Denver and joining DHR International, Martin and his wife spent time living and working in the city of Quito, Ecuador. While volunteering at the British School of Quito, he also provided management consulting services to various international organizations. Before heading to South America, Martin worked in the marketing department for leading food-ingredient manufacturer Newly Weds Foods, Inc., out of Chicago, IL.

Martin earned a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana and counts conversational Spanish among his qualifications and interests.In their spare time, Martin, his wife, and two young daughters enjoy travelling throughout the various countries of Latin America and taking advantage of all the activities the neighboring Rocky Mountains have to offer.
