John Martin

John Martin serves as partner at Jobplex Inc., a DHR International company, based in the firm’s headquarters in Chicago, IL. John is responsible for the execution, candidate development, assessment and client management of next generation leaders in corporate functions, such as human resources, finance, information technology, marketing, operations, and sales.

John has both a personal passion for recruiting as well as deep knowledge of corporate functions. During his tenure with Jobplex, John has worked on multiple searches from the manager positions up to the senior vice president level. His assignments and successful placements include Fortune 500 companies, such as Amazon.com, Honeywell, Amtrak, Kohler, Facebook and Microsoft.  John is known for his strong assessment of talent, his work ethic and great communication.

Before stepping into his current role at Jobplex, John served as principal, supporting the President of Jobplex.  Prior to this role, he was a senior associate for three years, dedicated to the Human Resources Practice Group. John started his executive search career at DHR International working as a research associate for two years before transitioning into Jobplex.

Prior to joining Jobplex Inc., John served as an area manager for Wal-Mart Distribution in Loveland, CO. With Wal-Mart, he developed an understanding of business and how to work and succeed in a Fortune 50 company.

John holds a Bachelor of Administration, Business with an emphasis in finance, from the University of Northern Colorado.
