Prior to joining Ward Howell International Matt was Managing Director & Principal of WAVERLY PARTNERS, LLC, a national retained executive search firm formed in 2001 with offices in Atlanta GA, Charleston SC, Charlotte NC, Cincinnati OH, Cleveland OH, Columbus OH, Kansas City KS and Toledo OH.
Before WAVERLY PARTNERSC, Matt was a Director at Christian & Timbers (CT Partners), one of the nation’s top executive search firms, and Stratford Group, a top 20 executive search firm. Earlier, he served as Director for the Professional Recruiting division of Spherion Corporation, a Fortune 500 human resources consulting company. Matt began his career in a series of sales and operations management assignments with General Electric and Roadway Express Corporation. Matt earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Villanova University and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Cleveland State University.
