Lucas Group Continues Recent Expansion

February 5, 2019 – Atlanta, GA-headquartered executive search firm Lucas Group has expanded with the addition of Dan Ladrech as the new managing partner for the manufacturing practice group. Mr. Ladrech and his team will work out of Lucas Group’s San Diego office and focus on manufacturing and supply chain recruiting throughout the western United States.

“Dan brings an impressive career in recruiting and senior management to our West Coast office,” said Charlie Wilgus, general manager of the manufacturing practice group at Lucas Group. “As we continue to expand our manufacturing and supply chain recruiting in the West, Dan’s extensive manufacturing experience and team leadership will be an important element to our strategic growth.”

Mr. Ladrech comes to Lucas Group from FPC of Columbia, SC, where he was vice president and managing partner with a particular focus on quality and operational excellence recruiting in California and throughout the country. At FPC, he led the company’s efforts in systems and personnel management, training and business development. He specialized in recruiting quality, six sigma, lean manufacturing and engineering professionals, a practice he will continue at Lucas Group. Prior to FPC, Mr. Ladrech was a senior buyer for Solectron Corp., a global provider of electronic manufacturing services and integrated supply chain solutions.

“Dan has outstanding experience and leadership skills,” said Mr. Wilgus. “He joins a highly motivated manufacturing recruiting team and his focus on supply chain and value stream management is ideal for our manufacturing clients. Manufacturers of all sizes understand that being profitable requires an efficient and effective value chain and there is a strong value stream emphasis in manufacturing today.”

“Dan’s deep industry knowledge enables him to find qualified candidates who may not be actively looking for another position,” he said. “It also helps him find people with impressive professional credentials and outstanding interpersonal skills. Those two traits are important to building trust in supply-chain relationships domestically and around the world.”
