Heather Hammond serves as the area manager for the firm’s New York and Stamford offices. Prior to joining TPG in 2017, Ben was a partner at Spencer Stuart, where he served as co-head of the firm’s North American region.

Susan Levine, Managing Director/Head of Talent Development – Bain Capital
Susan Levine joined Bain Capital in 2006. She is a managing director and head of North America private equity HR & talent development. Internally, Ms. Levine is responsible for the firm’s North America private equity team’s investment and portfolio operations professionals. Her primary responsibilities include leadership and professional development for deal and portfolio executives, recruiting, mentorship programs, resource allocation, and culture and connectivity programs for NA private equity business. Bob Llamas, Operating Partner Portfolio Operations – Blackstone
Bob Llamas is an operating partner with primary responsibilities to assist Blackstone’s portfolio companies with leadership and organization effectiveness, senior executive staffing, talent management, and human resources practices.
Before joining Blackstone in 2016, Mr. Llamas was executive vice president of human resources and community empowerment at Univision Communications Inc. Prior to Univision, he was the chief human resources and public affairs officer for the Nielsen Company. In addition, he has also served as chief administrative officer of The Cleveland Clinic, chief human resources officer of Lehman Brothers Inc., and was a corporate officer of General Electric where he headed up human resources for three of their largest businesses.
Mindy Mackenzie, Managing Director & Chief Performance Officer – The Carlyle Group
Mindy Mackenzie is managing director for the U.S. buyout fund of The Carlyle Group specializing in maximizing organizational, operational and leadership effectiveness through leveraging expertise in change management, strategy, culture and engagement – and the interplay of those four elements in driving performance. She is based in New York.
Prior to joining Carlyle, Mindy was founder and principal of her own firm focused on advising CEOs and their teams on how to unlock and accelerate performance. In addition to serving as senior advisor at McKinsey & Company, she served as global head of strategy, M&A and human resources at liquor giant Jim Beam, and earlier in her career lived and worked internationally for Campbell Soup Company and Walmart Stores, Inc. in senior human capital leadership roles.

Annmarie Neal joined Hellman & Friedman in 2015 and is the firm’s chief talent officer. Her primary responsibility is to help H&F drive value by improving the organizational and leadership effectiveness of the firm’s portfolio companies. Annmarie has over 20 years of experience working with global organizations on executive leadership, talent management, and organizational design.
Prior to H&F, she ran her own consulting firm and held the chief talent officer roles at both Cisco Systems and First Data Corporation. Additionally, she was a senior consultant with RHR International.
