June 9, 2026 – The Moran Company, an executive recruitment firm that specializes in the non-profit sector, has announced that Mike English joins Bill Moran as a partner of the firm and has been named the company’s CEO. Mr. Moran will continue his role as president of the company he established more than 30 years ago. Since then, The Moran Company has led more than 300 non-profit executive searches and remains committed to recruiting top talent for organizations and associations across the nation.
This transition represents a planned succession designed to ensure long-term continuity and success. Mr. Moran will remain fully active with the firm, focusing on continued growth, select client engagements, and mentoring the company’s leadership and team of senior search consultants. Mr. English will continue to lead key client leadership searches while partnering with Mr. Moran to set the firm’s strategic vision.

Mr. English leverages over 20 years of non-profit leadership to help non-profit organizations navigate leadership transitions. Since joining the firm in 2020 as a search consultant, he has specialized in C-suite recruitment (CEO, CFO, and COO) across diverse sectors including community foundations, education, mental health, developmental disabilities, affordable housing, social services, and human services. In addition to his work leading searches, Mr. English helps to train and coach other members of The Moran Company search team while also leading the firm’s prospect research efforts.
