Grayson & Co. Opens Doors

June 11, 2019 – The executive search industry is being disrupted by the entrance of a multitude of new players offering advanced business models and new technologies. The latest: Veteran executive search consultant Christopher Sheeron has launched strategic advisory firm Grayson & Co.
With the increasing need for sophisticated communications counsel, coupled with the burgeoning war for talent, the firm and its partners are looking to leverage their experience and expertise to solve clients’ most pressing advocacy and human capital challenges.
“I am thrilled to launch Grayson & Co. to provide a specialized toolkit for an array of organizations to address political uncertainty, corporate complexity and technological innovation,” said Mr. Sheeron. “Combining public affairs and communications with leadership consulting and recruiting is not only a natural synergy for success in today’s business climate, but also a distinct offering in the market.”
The firm will provide four primary service offerings: strategic communications, public affairs, leadership consulting and board advisory.
Veteran Recruiter
Mr. Sheeron was previously a principal in the energy and environmental practice at RSR Partners. In this capacity, he recruited transformational leaders and provided strategic talent advisory services to companies and organizations in the oil and natural gas, chemicals, mining, commodities, agriculture and environmental fields. He has also been a member of the firm’s corporate team, as well as a consultant in the board recruiting practice. Prior to joining the board recruiting practice, he worked as an associate and senior associate in the office of the firm’s founder and chairman, Russell S. Reynolds Jr.
“After more than seven years with RSR Partners, I am leaving to start my own firm,” said Mr. Sheeron. “I am launching the company as a hybrid firm – combining leadership consulting and recruiting with communications and public affairs – which is unique in the market.”
“Grayson & Co. is a strategic advisory firm operating at the nexus of public affairs and people,” he said. “Headquartered in Washington, D.C., the company offers a unique suite of communications and leadership consulting services to an array of corporations, governments and individuals.”
