ZRG Expands Life Sciences Practice

January 11, 2021 – ZRG has expanded with the addition of Lee Golodny as managing director. Mr. Golodny has seven years of executive search experience dedicated exclusively to life sciences, having placed more than 100 executives within the industry. He will work in the firm’s New York City office.

“Through a string of successful assignments, Lee has made a name for himself in the life sciences industry in a short time,” said Larry Hartmann, CEO of ZRG. “He’s a proven leader with an eye for talent, and we are excited for the successes he will bring to ZRG and to the life sciences team.”

Mr. Golodny has experience developing long-lasting relationships within life sciences functions, including clinical development, medical affairs, regulatory affairs, quality assurance and clinical operations. In addition, he has placed candidates at the C-suite, EVP/SVP, and executive levels in multiple functional domains spanning the drug development lifecycle, and worked within several therapeutic areas including oncology and rare disease. His accomplishments include recruiting the chief medical officer of an emerging biotech and building the team of direct reports beneath this leader. In addition, he placed over 10 executives at one organization in less than two years, rebuilding their clinical development franchise.

Mr. Golodny earned his first search experience at executive search firm Fairway Consulting Group, where he was ultimately promoted to VP, R&D search practice. Cultivating relationships with biotech and pharma companies of all sizes, he brought in several of the firm’s most senior searches during his time there, according to ZRG.

“The fast-growing pace of the ZRG team, the seasoned executives who will be my peers, and the firm’s impressive proprietary recruiting platform all attracted me to ZRG,” Mr. Golodny said. “I am grateful for this opportunity to spread my wings and learn from some of the most well-respected leaders in executive search.”
