ZRG Appoints Digital, Data, Analytics, and AI Practice Leader

October 28, 2020 – ZRG has expanded with the addition of Lisa Peacock-Edwards as managing director and leader of its digital, data, analytics and AI practice. “Lisa’s track record of success spans countries and continents,” said Larry Hartmann, CEO of ZRG. “As a member of the ZRG team and leader of the digital, data, analytics and AI practice, I’m confident in the successful placements she will make on behalf of her clients in the digital space and beyond.”

Ms. Peacock-Edwards has 20 years of experience working with large enterprises and private equity-backed business. Her work has focused on organizations experiencing growth and transformation across digital, technology, data and the customer, including high-profile digital and data transformation assignments for Fortune 50 companies and charters to drive growth within private equity portfolio companies. She is known for assembling local, expat, and diaspora talent to form strong executive teams. At the C-suite level, Ms. Peacock-Edwards has placed chief data officer, chief ai officer, chief customer officer and CTO/CIO roles.

Previously, Ms. Peacock-Edwards served as managing director at Wilton & Bain specializing in C-level searches across financial services, commerce and industry as well as VC and private equity. She had responsibility for global practices across strategy & change, technology, HR, commercial & customer and risk, legal and compliance. Before that, Ms. Peacock-Edwards was a partner with Marlin Hawk.

Other Recent Additions

Recently, ZRG added Brian Meany as managing partner and global head of its retail practice. He is based in the firm’s New York City office. Mr. Meany has spent the past 25 years as managing director for Herbert Mines Associates, where he executed C-suite searches across the retail, fashion, wholesale and consumer product industries.

ZRG also bolstered its healthcare, life sciences, IT, tech and fintech practices by adding Shelly Scott, Brian Kelley, Chuck Nees and Abe Doctor as managing directors.

Ms. Scott is a seasoned executive search consultant who brings legal, compliance, risk and privacy functional expertise to ZRG’s healthcare and life sciences practices. With 10 years of executive search experience, she has led searches from chief legal officer and chief compliance officer to vice president of risk management, privacy, investor relations, government affairs, technical operations and performance improvement. Prior to joining ZRG, Ms. Scott spent 10 years with BakerGillmore, a New York area legal and compliance boutique search firm, as chair of its healthcare and life sciences practice.

Mr. Kelley adds 30 years of functional, sales, marketing and operational expertise to ZRG’s healthcare practice. Previously, he spent nearly five years with The Onstott Group, where he was a managing director with a specific focus on the healthcare industry. Before that, he served as a partner with The Buffkin Group. Mr. Kelley operated his own boutique search firm, BTK Associates, from 2005 to 2015.


ZRG Expands in Latin America and Mexico
ZRG Partners expanded its global footprint into Latin America and Mexico with the additions of Manny Corsino and Hugo Lara. “For over a decade, Manny has dedicated himself to bridging the gap between North America and Latin America in the executive search world, and our technology practice will benefit from his valuable industry expertise,” said Larry Hartmann, CEO. “In addition, Hugo’s focus on customers’ needs and people management, as well as his strong consultative and strategic thinking abilities, will be an asset to our Industrial and consumer practices.”


Mr. Nees brings a track record of successful searches for C-suite GM, finance, sales and marketing, HR, operations, IT and engineering roles for private, public and family-owned organizations to ZRG’s technology practice. Prior to joining ZRG, Mr. Nees was co-founder of a national boutique search firm, Braswell Nees Group.

Mr. Doctor joins ZRG from TritonExec where he served as managing partner and head of North America, driving double-digit annual growth in the region. Previously, he was with Korn Ferry as a leader in the professional services and digital practices. Most of his executive search career has been as a specialist in business and technology services and in growth markets where the effect of digital transformation has created new industries, including fintech and insur-tech.
