NGS Global Expands in San Francisco and Singapore

April 24, 2019 – Executive search firm NGS Global continues to grow, recently adding Louis La Rocca and BL Seah as partners in its San Francisco and Singapore offices.

Mr. La Rocca has over 17 years of executive search experience and has recruited senior executives for private and public companies at every stage of growth, ranging from early stage to the Fortune 500 companies.

He has placed executives across the C-suite, as well as critical management and functional heads spanning general management, marketing, sales, engineering, human resources and information technology.

Previously, he was founding partner at NEXT Strategic Search, a boutique executive search firm focusing on technology and services companies. Earlier in his career, he was a partner at Calibre One and NGS Global’s predecessor firm in the Americas, Nosal Partners. Mr. La Rocca began his search career at CTPartners.

“I am delighted that Louis has joined NGS Global,” said David Nosal, chairman. “He brings a significant amount of experience to the organization, especially as it relates to working closely with technology companies. His reputation within early stage and mid-sized companies as well as global multinationals is outstanding, and he will add to the significant momentum we have in the organization, especially here in North America.”

Ms. Seah has more than a decade of executive search and recruitment expertise. She has experience in search across a broad set of industries and functions, with a strong focus on commercial and leadership roles in the industrial sector.

Ms. Seah’s search experience includes leading Singapore-based boutique firm Octagon360. Earlier in her career, Ms. Seah was a country manager for regional executive search firm MRIC, where she led consultants recruiting across multiple industries and functions. Ms. Seah began her executive search career at Hudson Global, where she progressed from a consultant to a director leading teams in the industrial, healthcare/life sciences and consumer sectors.

“The appointment of Ms. Seah to our Singapore office is a welcome addition to our team and to our commitment to the Singapore market,” said Julian Buckeridge and Lee Brantingham, managing partners of NGS Global’s Singapore office, in a statement. “Ms. Seah will be a highly valued member of our growing team, in our initiative to expand capabilities within Singapore and across Southeast Asia.”

Growth Mode

With offices across the Americas, Europe, Asia and Africa, NGS Global boasts a consultant team with expertise and broad networks in a variety of industries and functional areas. The firm has grown in recent months with the opening of an office in London and naming Steve Lavelle as managing partner to head the office. Mr. Lavelle is an experienced European executive search professional with more than 25 years recruiting executive leaders predominantly in the technology sector. He previously founded Lavelle Executive Search.

NGS also opened an office in Dubai and appointed industry veteran Karla Dorsch to lead the location as managing partner. Ms. Dorsch, who has years of experience in the financial services sector, joined the financial services practice. She most recently served as CEO of Piedmont Ltd., a boutique executive search firm based in London and the UAE that she founded more than 20 years ago.

In addition, the firm added Don Chang and Michael Huberts as managing partners in its Seoul and Tokyo offices, respectively. Mr. Chang brings in-depth experience in IT and technology focusing on senior-level leadership development and C-level searches. Before joining NGS Global, he was a senior director at Ernst & Young Korea and executive director at Deloitte Korea.
