The Tolan Group Recruits CFO for Georgia Urology

September 10, 2021 – Chief financial officers continue to be in high demand. Finding them is keeping many of the nation’s top recruitment operations busier than ever. The Tolan Group (TTG) recently placed Bridgett Chasko as the new CFO of Georgia Urology. Managing partner Kaye Johnson and senior search consultant Jennifer Chee led the search. “We selected The Tolan Group based on their expertise in placing executives in the healthcare services market,” said Dan Fellner, CEO of Georgia Urology. “From the kick-off call to the execution of the final offer letter, the search team was heavily involved in every phase of the search. I’ve worked with other larger executive recruiting firms, but my experience with TTG was exceptional.”
“It was a real pleasure to work with Dan and the search committee on this engagement. We are thrilled to have Georgia Urology as a client of TTG,” said Ms. Johnson.
Ms. Chasko is replacing retiring CFO Jason Shelnutt. “We’ve done great things together, including quadrupling the size of the practice and creating a strong presence in the medical community,” said Mr. Shelnutt. “I’m confident Bridgett will do a fantastic job helping Georgia Urology continue to provide best-in-class urological care into the future.”
Ms. Chasko has more than three decades in the healthcare industry, including 10 years as a CFO. She has a diverse background in for-profit and not-for-profit healthcare, including hospital systems with physician practices, long-term care facilities and insurance plans.

She led the strategic, financial and operational management for 13 nursing homes, related properties and unrelated businesses. She was also involved in acquisitions and divestitures of nursing homes and other businesses. Ms. Chasko has a solid understanding of healthcare information technology and AI across all aspects of business. She managed all aspects of finance and accounting, emphasizing financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, audit, mergers and acquisitions, integration, fundraising, investor relations, strategic planning, key performance indicators and corporate development.
“To me, a CFO isn’t someone who sits in a back office and does accounting,” Ms. Chasko said. “I look forward to working directly with Georgia Urology’s strong leadership team to help us deliver better patient care and drive stronger financial performance.”
