November 29, 2017 – Executive search and professional services firm hrQ has expanded with the addition of Salvador Vergara as vice president and managing director of its Dallas office.

Mr. Vergara has over 23 years of consultative business development and relationship management experience. He comes to hrQ from Jobvite, where he served in a sales director role working heavily within the global talent acquisition and recruitment marketing function. He previously held leadership and business development roles with CareerBuilder, Jobs2web and Knowledge Marketing.

Earlier this year, hrQ appointed Brent McCombs as vice president and managing director of its Houston office. Mr. McCombs joined the firm from Intermountain Health, where he served as AVP-HR overseeing talent acquisition and workforce optimization. He previously held HR leadership roles within a KKR portfolio company, Waste Management, ThermoFisher Scientific, Mylan Pharmaceuticals and Cardinal Health.

That hire followed hrQ’s opening of new offices in San Francisco, Atlanta and Philadelphia with the additions of Pam Brown, Carrie Magee and Kelly Morello, respectively. Ms. Brown, who serves as VP/managing director, served as an HR leader at LinkedIn during a period of rapid growth. Ms. Magee, who serves as VP/ managing director, most recently held a line executive role with Citi where she led end-to-end customer experience. Ms. Morello, who led hrQ’s launch in the Philadelphia market as VP/managing director, has held HR leadership positions with several pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies.
