A recruiter by training, Yates’ passion is assisting growth oriented companies acquire talent, at scale. His career has been dedicated to healthcare and Life Sciences having worked with organizations like Eli Lilly and Company, Parexel, CVS/Aetna and United Healthcare. Taking a consultative approach, Yates works with his clients on large resourcing projects, aligning not just on hiring goals but also appropriate long term strategy that incorporates organizational design, recruitment technology and employment branding. As Partner and General Manager of ChasmTeam, Yates is focused on providing scalable talent solutions to high growth healthcare technology and services companies. In addition to his overall responsibility for ChasmTeam, Yates is a member of the Executive Leadership Team of Chasm Partners.

Prior to joining Chasm, Yates was the Vice President of Client Solutions at Sevenstep, a pure play RPO provider offering Talent Solutions, Employer Branding and Advisory services to middle market and F500 clients across the globe. Previous to Sevenstep, Yates held various executive roles at KellyOCG and IBM Kenexa in RPO Delivery, Solution Design and Sales. He brings deep expertise in designing and managing complex outsourced recruitment solutions.

Yates holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Appalachian State University and holds certifications as an Enterprise Design Thinking Coach and Practitioner from IBM. Yates resides in Raleigh, North Carolina with his wife, two sons and their English Cocker Spaniel. When not leading ChasmTeam and chasing his children around, Yates is an avid outdoorsman, farmer and enthusiastic supporter of Appalachian State University’s football team.
