Maria believes that everyone should have access to great healthcare and today’s medical technology tools. More importantly, excellent leadership is a crucial starting point for companies to succeed. She is passionate about finding people and connecting them to their next opportunity where they can impact their career.
Prior to working at Chasm Partners, Maria started her recruiting career placing physicians internationally to remote areas in Australia, New Zealand and the Caribbean for temporary locum tenens assignments. Later, she shifted her career to work in corporate recruiting for a large, global software company recruiting senior level sales, marketing, and professional services roles at NICE inContact, a customer experience platform. She is excited to blend her searches in both healthcare and IT and to help make an impact scaling companies.
Maria graduated from University of Utah with a BA in Mass Communication, Broadcast Journalism. She completed 2 internships during that time; one for FOX 13 News, Salt Lake City and KGW, NBC affiliate in Portland, Oregon. Following graduation, she bought a one-way ticket to Santiago, Chile and lived and worked abroad for 2 years teaching English to Chilean business men and woman.
Today she lives in Salt Lake City and stays busy with her husband, their two children, 2 dogs and 1 cat. She stays busy with her kid’s sports and loves to entertain friends and family, golf, and catch any live music she can. Her biggest passion these days, is to renovate her old Victorian home and any project around interior design.
