Phillip Webster

Phillip Webster, PhD, is Senior Fellow, Leadership Insights at N2Growth, where he leads the firm’s thought leadership. Leveraging deep research expertise, he delivers data-driven insights that illuminate emerging trendlines and business shifts, helping boards and executives define the leadership capabilities required to navigate and excel in evolving business landscapes.

Prior to N2Growth, Phillip developed thought leadership at a Big 4 firm, leading international and cross-functional teams to support clients in a wide range of functions, including tax, human resources, and IT, and industries, such as financial services, healthcare, and telecommunications. His research has been featured in global publications and webinars, presented at the World Economic Forum, and reported in the Wall Street Journal.

His commitment to high quality research and writing stems from his academic training. He received his Master’s degree from Duke University and his PhD from the University of Pennsylvania. He has taught at the University of Pennsylvania and Williams College, and has also been invited to teach at New York University. Phillip has given invited papers and presentations at Harvard University, Stanford University, and Brown University, among other places, including international conferences.

Based in Buffalo, NY, when he’s not spending his time reading, writing, or shoveling snow (Buffalo joke!), he loves being with his kids, restoring his historic house, and exploring his neighborhood on foot, including the nearby Olmstead-designed park system.
