Paolo Del Conte is a Senior Partner at N2Growth Italy, a global executive search and leadership advisory firm based in Milan, with a focus on C-level, C-1, and board roles. Paolo has almost 20 years’ experience in HR consulting, including time at Kelly Services and Frazer Jones (within The SR Group), both recognized as international leaders in HR professional services.
After earning a degree in Business Administration in Italy, he spent 10 years working in temporary staffing & workforce solutions with a 360° HR consulting approach, working across multiple sectors and industries. Professionally, he grew up in the middle of the so-called “Motor and Food Valley” between the Parma and Bologna areas, known for excellence not only in automotive and food & beverage, but also in other local districts such as fashion and automation.
Driven by a desire to deepen his understanding of the people and culture area, he completed an Executive Master’s in “Human Resources Organisation and Development” in Rome, strengthening his strategic HR skills and leadership capabilities. Seeking a broader international perspective, he moved to Milan to support a London-based HR executive search firm in developing its start-up Milan office and managing projects across Southern Europe.
Before joining N2Growth, Paolo spent almost eight years as a Partner at Tailor&Fox – Your HR Business Partner, an HR consulting boutique based in Milan with a focus on middle & top management roles. His core areas of expertise include finance, HR, operations, sales, engineering, and general management, across sectors such as industrial and manufacturing, automotive, F&B, FMCG, professional services, and fashion and retail.
Known for being a good listener, he adopts a strategic business partner mindset and a “Glocal” approach (a mix of global vision and local adaptation), consistently delivering high-quality recruitment consulting and talent acquisition for hard-to-find projects, while building trust with clients and candidates alike.
During candidate interviews, which he prefers to call introductory chats, Paolo likes to identify Talent with a capital “T”, recognising that professional careers are often like waltzes rather than a linear progression, and that the right candidate is not necessarily the most “plug & play” one, but perhaps the one with a small gap to fill, driven by passion and curiosity!
