Patricia Muller

Partner

Patricia is currently a Partner in the Westwood Partners Asset Management practice. In this role she specializes in senior-level recruiting assignments across the full spectrum of Asset Management, particularly investment professionals, and has an expertise in executing team lift-outs, build-outs and M&A transactions in this space. She manages Westwood’s unique diversity platform, a customized approach to placing diversity candidates across all aspects of financial services that has one of the highest success rates in the industry. In addition, Patricia has vast expertise in the alternative data and quantitative world. Patricia joined Westwood in 2005 as co-founder of Westwood Distributors LLC. In that capacity she specialized in providing distribution and marketing services to institutional money managers; assisting clients to attract over $8 billion in investment assets. She brings over twenty years of experience focused on the financial services industry to her current role.

Prior to joining Westwood, Patricia was COO of Warren International, an asset management executive search boutique. She was responsible for expanding the firm and running finance, legal, administration, and research. She also participated in client services, marketing, internal recruitment, strategic initiatives, and launching new ventures. Patricia started her career at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette in research. She then left to become an Equities Reporter at Institutional Investor Inc. where her role expanded to that of Managing Editor, Executive Editor, and Deputy Editor.

She managed over 100 reporters and editors globally and helped launch new businesses. Patricia earned both an MBA in International Business with a focus on Emerging Markets and a BA in Political Science from Hofstra University.
