Adam D. Herz

Adam joined Westwood Partners as a Partner together with his team in January, 2012. Adam specializes in senior level placements within the global alternative asset management industry. Adam brings to his clients a vast breadth of experience dealing with all aspects of human capital for premier hedge funds. He helps to advise clients with strategic decisions related to management and growth issues. Additionally, he has helped provide capital introductions to seed nascent funds and then works closely with these funds and other firms as an advisor.

Prior to joining Westwood, Adam was the founding partner of Hunter Advisors and was a Senior Vice President with the Whitney Group. He specialized in global credit markets and the hedge fund industry with extensive experience in placing both investing and research professionals in Event Driven, Distressed, Market Neutral, Credit Arbitrage and Multi Strategy funds.

Prior to joining the Whitney Group, Adam was a Director at the Options Group in the capital markets practice, where he was recognized as the number one recruiter globally for two consecutive years. Adam graduated from Boston University with a BA in political science. He is also a Trustee of The Washington Institute for Near East Policy and is actively involved with several other charities.
