Mark specializes in recruiting senior to mid-level executives in Alternative Investments including Private Equity, Real Estate, and Hedge Funds as well as Wealth Management. Mark has particular expertise recruiting alternatives fundraising and investor relations professionals.

He has partnered with clients to build and acquire teams in both fundraising and wealth management. In addition, Mark provides comprehensive research, analysis, and strategic advice to his clients in order to help them evaluate the competitive landscape and explore creative options for growth.

Prior to joining Westwood in 2008, Mark was a consultant for nine years at executive search firms The Gerson Group and A.T. Kearney (formerly Ray & Berndtson).

Previously, Mark was a banker for ten years, most recently as Head of Commercial Real Estate Finance at The Dai-Ichi Kangyo Bank (now Mizuho Financial). He began his banking career at The Chase Manhattan Bank where he was credit trained and was an officer in both corporate workouts and commercial real estate finance. Mark earned a Bachelor of Arts in History and Sociology from Clark University. He also completed The Program on Negotiation at Harvard Law School.
