Cathy Sutherland

Managing Director

Cathy has been in executive search since 1994. She joined ZRG Partners in September of 2014 as a Managing Director in the Metro NY office as a senior member of the Consumer practice group. The primary functions she has recruited for include Sales, Marketing, Shopper Insights, Analytics, Merchandising, Supply Chain, Communications, Human Resources and General Management roles.   Cathy has led searches from Director to Senior Vice President, for Fortune 500, mid-sized and fast-growing consumer companies.

In addition to her role at ZRG, Cathy is a member of the Network of Executive Women (NEW), an International organization of 10,000+ professionals in the consumer and retail industry, and serves on the NEW NY Metro Chapter Steering Committee.

Prior to joining ZRG Partners, LLC, Cathy spent five years with a Chicago area search firm, as the Consumer and Retail Practice leader.  She also founded and ran a retained search firm for ten years, after having worked for both regional and International search firms.

Before Cathy discovered her passion for executive search, she spent over 10 years in sales positions representing professional services to Fortune 500 companies.
