ON Partners Recruits Chief Marketing Officer for Transformco

October 27, 2023 – As business becomes more global and complex, and power shifts from producers of goods and services to consumers, the chief marketing officer’s job of planning and coordinating marketing activities has become more challenging, recruiters say. Yet executive search firms are seeing no shortage of assignments for this important C-level position. ON Partners’ Andy Hickman and Alex Pelak recently placed Patrick Dodson as the new chief marketing officer of Transformco in Hoffman Estates, IL.

Mr. Dodson is an experienced B2B and B2C marketing leader with a background in performance marketing, complex media, content strategy, and user experience landscapes. His expertise spans across Fortune 500, mid-size, and private equity across marketplaces. Mr. Dodson has a record of driving millions in new revenue through B2B demand generation campaigns across marketing automation platforms, CRM, personalization, loyalty, digital and traditional media tactics, industry events, compelling content, and powerful sales enablement platforms supporting 500+ member sales teams.

Mr. Dodson joins Transformco from CoStar Group, where he served as the vice president, head of marketing, Apartments.com. Prior to that, he was the senior director of marketing at Autotrader.com and Kelley Blue Book. There he was responsible for multi-channel, product, and sales enablement strategy, and demand generation. He has held additional roles at Greensky and Georgia-Pacific/Koch Industries.

As a consultant, Mr. Pelak has a strong focus in technology, aerospace and defense, and industrial.  His recent work includes senior-level placements for lidar, photonics, semiconductor, advanced materials, and consumer electronics clients.
