ON Partners Places Chief Sales Officer and Chief Marketing Officer at Guru

December 19, 2022 – Daniel Bolger and Jake Espenlaub of ON Partners have helped to place Dan Thompson as chief sales officer and Jeff Perkins as chief marketing officer at Greenlight Guru, a provider of cloud-based software solutions for MedTech companies.

These hires come at the end of a successful 2022 for Greenlight Guru that saw substantial growth while acquiring several companies, including Denmark-based SMART-TRIAL. In 2021, the company received a $120 million investment from JMI Equity.

Mr. Thompson is an experienced go-to-market executive with over 15 years of building and leading high-performing teams through periods of rapid growth. He comes to Greenlight Guru from Workday, which he joined through the acquisition of Peakon where he led commercial operations for the U.S., Canada, and Latin America. His people-first, process-oriented approach to strategy and execution has enabled him to drive consistent, sustainable results at both scale-ups and public companies, including Dialpad, Smarsh, and Symantec.

Mr. Perkins is an experienced executive who has held leadership roles at several high-growth technology companies, including ParkMobile, QASymphony (now Tricentis), PGi, and Autotrader US. In his most recent role at ParkMobile, he helped establish the company as the number one parking app in the U.S., growing revenue by 233 percent over the past five years. Mr. Perkins started his career in the New York advertising industry working at Saatchi & Saatchi and Havas, and is the author of the book How Not to Suck at Marketing.
