Lancer Group Finds Leader for Boston Consulting Group’s Southeast Asia Tech Practice
February 28, 2018 – The Lancer Group, a La Jolla, CA-based executive search firm, has placed Luc Grimond as partner and managing director at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG), a strategic management consulting firm.
He joins the firm’s Southeast Asia technology advantage practice in Singapore.
In his role for BCG, Mr. Grimond is responsible for helping clients across a wide range of industries shape their digital and technology agenda to drive sustainable growth and impactful changes.
Mr. Grimond has more than 18 years of experience in the consulting industry in the areas of digital strategy & transformation, customer experience, and operations. He brings a track record of directing strategy, governance, and transformation efforts for Fortune 500 companies in a wide range of industries including high-tech, telecommunications and natural resources.

Extensive Experience
Most recently, Mr. Grimond was managing director, Asia-Pacific digital transformation lead for Accenture, a top global professional services company that provides a broad range of services and solutions in strategy, consulting, digital, technology and operations. In that role, also in Singapore, Mr. Grimond established and led the sales, marketing & customer service business practice for the firm’s communication, media & high-tech practice. Earlier in his career, he was a solution architect for i2Technologies (now JDA Software Group) in London. He holds a master of science degree in computer sciences from the University of London, King’s College.

Prior to joining the firm, he held leadership roles at Korn Ferry and Heidrick & Struggles.
Recent Search Work
The Lancer Group recently recruited Ed Daihl as CEO of Accela, a provider of cloud-based productivity and civic engagement solutions to government agencies worldwide. In this new role, Mr. Daihl brings four decades of government, SaaS, and systems integration experience to Accela in addition to having a track record of driving top-line growth and increased margins for public and private equity-backed companies.
The firm tapped Paul Salay as CEO of Gladson Interactive, a provider of digital content and retail omni-channel optimization solutions for the consumer-packaged goods and fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industries. Most recently, Mr. Salay served as chief commercial officer of Cision, a GTCR-backed public relations technology firm.
Lancer Group also placed Craig Halliday as CEO of EMS Software, a JMI equity-backed provider of meeting and room scheduling software solutions to Fortune 100 companies, higher education institutions, law firms, conference centers, and government organizations. Mr. Halliday has over 20 years of experience leading top companies in the enterprise software space and a strong track record of growing business to achieve consistent and profitable growth.
