February 24, 2023 – Diversified Search Group | Koya Partners has appointed Marissa Delgado as leader and managing director of its Chicago office. “Continuing to grow our impact nationally and globally requires exemplary leadership,” said Aileen K. Alexander, CEO of Diversified Search Group. “We are thrilled that Marissa will lead our Chicago office, which has more than tripled in size over the past five years. Marissa brings an innate passion for her team and a keen focus on service excellence and the long-term success of our clients.”
Ms. Delgado joined Koya Partners/Diversified Search Group in 2015 and has nearly 18 years of experience in executive search. Recognized by Crain’s Chicago Business in 2021 as a “Notable Leader in HR,” she has expertise in mission-driven organizations on the national and global scale. Ms. Delgado has experience with organizations in the non-profit, social impact, and health-related sectors, placing leaders in the C-suite and on boards.
Prior to joining Koya, Ms. Delgado served as vice president, global research for DHR Global. There, she was a leader in the development of the education and non-profit practice. She was also responsible for overall management of DHR’s global search execution and was instrumental in the expansion of the firm in Asia, Europe, and South America.

Diversified Search Group | Koya Partners has been enlisted by United Way Worldwide to lead its search for a new chief financial officer. Peter Gillin and Chartise Clark are leading the assignment for the recruitment firm. Reporting to the president and CEO, the CFO will play a critical role in the development and implementation of the financial systems and strategies of United Way As a member of the senior leadership team, the CFO will provide financial and strategic support to the CEO and board of directors to support United Way’s long-term growth and financial viability.
In 2019, Koya was acquired by Diversified Search. With the combination of revenues and resources, Diversified Search and Koya now represent one of the largest non-profit and higher education practices in the executive search industry.
