IRC Global Adds New Member Firm in Russia

June 30, 2020 – IRC Global Executive Search Partners has strengthened its global presence adding VIPJOBS LLC as a new member firm in Russia. The organization says that Russia is a market with significant talent and strong demand for leadership capabilities. “With IRC Russia, our worldwide executive search firm alliance has secured a strong foothold to support our international clients,” IRC said.

IRC Russia (VIPJOBS LLC) was found in 2008 by Andrey Oblov as an executive search firm to help foreign companies to find staff in Russia and at the same time for Russian companies to find personal abroad. They mainly have experience in top positions for IT, Internet and Telecom industries. Also, the firm works in the retail, E-commerce, production, oil & gas, banking, agriculture and medicine & pharmacy industries. It is located in Moscow, with branch offices in Siberia (Irkutsk and Surgut) and south Russia (Esentuki).

“First of all, I am very grateful for this opportunity to become a partner at IRC Global Executive Search Partners,” said Andrey Oblov, CEO and founder of IRC Russia (VIPJOBS LLC). “Also, I want to thank Marina Makoviy and Yury Kostrikin from IRC Ukraine, who introduced us to IRC. We are looking forward to becoming part of a global alliance, which is a tremendous support to earn respect and trust of new clients.”

“We sincerely welcome our new colleagues to IRC,” said Rohan Carr, president of IRC Global Executive Search Partners. “Given the importance of Russia not only to the European but also the global economy, it is vital that we have a strong partner in this key country. We look forward to the opportunities to work together and further strengthen our premier alliance.”

Russia has an evolving market economy with enormous natural resources, particularly oil and natural gas. It has the 15th largest economy in the world by nominal GDP and the 6th largest by purchasing power parity (PPP). Since the turn of the 21st century, higher domestic consumption and greater political stability have bolstered economic growth in the country. Nevertheless, it remains a risk environment for recruiters looking to expand in the region.

IRC has partners in over 80 cities across Europe, the Middle East, the Americas, Africa, Asia and Australia. The consortium has completed more than 30,000 assignments for more than 3,000 clients in virtually every industry segment and function, according to the firm.

Global Growth

Here’s a look at some recent expansion activity at the global consortium from the Hunt Scanlon Media archives:

As IRC Global Executive Search Partners’ technology practice grows across all regions, it has decided to further strengthen its global team. Ron Magen, from IRC Israel, has been named as the new EMEA technology practice leader, while Hong Nguyen, from IRC Vietnam, takes over as the new Asia-Pacific technology practice leader. “Leaders are catalysts for technological breakthroughs as such,” said Mr. Magen, in reference to the impact of technology on the leadership in the 2020s. “Cultivating high-quality leadership in the tech industry is critical for unleashing pivotal organizational changes and for driving organizational growth and impact. Over the decades, scientists and tech companies developed the technology infrastructure to facilitate human progress. It is the role of 21st-century tech leaders to facilitate the implementation of technology to society.”

IRC Global Executive Search Partners has named Pía Puebla Menne as Americas regional leader taking over from Tom Berray, who has been elected as a member of the IRC executive board. Ms. Menne has been working as an executive search consultant for 14 years, placing C-level executives in industries ranging from financial services to consumer products, logistics, engineering, government and non-profit. She is a managing partner at IRC Chile (Inquest Consultores).

IRC recently added Charlotte, NC-headquartered Hunt Executive Search as its sixth member firm in the U.S. The boutique firm offers a deeply connected and engaged personal service approach and a 25-year history of strong relationships with multi-national, private equity and private company leadership globally.

IRC Global Executive Search Partners appointed Robert Peck as its new real estate global practice leader. Mr. Peck, who is partner and managing director at IRC USA – 20/20 Foresight Executive Search, leads operations for IRC’s New York, Chicago, Los Angeles and Miami offices.

IRC recently added People Executive in Denmark as its newest member firm. People Executive is led by a team of four partners: Anders Jørgensen, Niels Prehn, Jesper Dambo and Naja Gissel. The firm has experience within the executive search as well as search and selection in the Danish market and is well-known for high quality and tailored solutions across segments and industries.
