Howard Fischer Associates Assists Marley Spoon in U.S. CEO Search

March 3, 2020 – Philadelphia-headquartered executive search firm Howard Fischer Associates has assisted meal kit subscription service Marley Spoon in the recruitment of Julie Marchant-Houle as its chief executive officer in the U.S.

Ms. Marchant-Houle joins Marley Spoon with a deep understanding and demonstrated track record in scaling large consumer product goods businesses through strategic leadership, innovation and visionary thinking. Previously, she served as senior vice president and group managing director of the Hain Celestial Group. In this role, she had responsibility for the Hain Celestial personal care portfolio consisting of five brands (Alba Botanica, Avalon Organics, Jason Natural Products, Live Clean and Queen Helene) and the Better-For-You Snacks portfolio consisting of four brands (Sensible Portions, Terra, Garden of Eatin’ and Bearitos).

Before that, Ms. Marchant-Houle was vice president of marketing and global portfolio leader at Revlon. In this position, she led all brand building activity for Almay Cosmetics, a $200 million global brand distributed in  more than 10 countries, including global P&L, global equity development, long range strategic planning, portfolio (innovation) planning and marketing strategy, and asset creation.

Based in Marley Spoon’s New York City headquarters, she will focus on business planning, leadership development and brand building.
