Heidrick Consulting Announces Expansion
December 19, 2018 – Executive search, leadership consulting and culture shaping services provider Heidrick & Struggles International has expanded its Heidrick Consulting segment with the addition of two new partners and two principals.
“We continue to build and grow our business to better meet the demands of our clients globally,” said Andrew LeSueur, global managing partner of Heidrick Consulting. “The addition of these consultants will strengthen our capabilities and expertise in the North American, European and Asia-Pacific regions.”
Cheryl Stokes joins as the firm as a partner in the Atlanta office, bringing more than 20 years of experience advising leaders in addressing global business challenges, as well as developing the leadership systems and organizational capabilities needed to execute their strategies.
Previously, Ms. Stokes served as regional managing director for Duke Corporate Education’s European operations, where she set the strategic direction, managing business growth and profitability, building brand awareness and developing the organization’s capability to execute its strategy. Under her leadership, the region enjoyed its strongest growth and profitability in Duke Corporate Education’s history. In her previous role as executive director at Duke Corporate Education, Ms. Stokes designed and delivered programs with clients from numerous industries, including professional services, energy and mining, transportation, financial services, defense and aerospace, high tech, and others.
Ian Tomlinson-Roe joins Heidrick Consulting as partner in the London office.
He has spent the past 20 years in either line or advisory roles working at the highest levels of organizations and government. His breadth of experience covers many sectors, including financial services, oil and gas, mining, pharmaceuticals and life sciences, defense, technology and sports.
Previously, Mr. Tomlinson-Roe was a senior partner at PwC, where he led the workforce transformation solution and the firm’s people and organization public sector consulting activity. He most recently designed and led the U.K.’s largest defense sector transformation. Before joining PwC, he held executive committee responsibility for people, marketing, and communications at the Dutch insurer AEGON.
Marina Ivanoff comes to Heidrick Consulting as a principal in the Singapore office. She brings a breadth of experience in HR and leadership consultancy acquired in multinational institutions, and through living and working across Europe, the U.S. and Asia. With more than 15 years of experience as a leadership consultant and executive coach, Ms. Ivanoff specializes in leadership development program design and facilitation, competency assessment, high potential identification and executive coaching.
Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, she ran her own consultancy boutique firm and worked for other firms. She has been living in Singapore and working in APAC for the last eight years. Prior to joining the consulting industry, Ms. Ivanoff gained both operational and strategic HR experience in local, regional and global roles at Griffith Laboratories, Coca-Cola Enterprises and DHL.
Jane Schroeder joins the firm as a principal in the London office, focusing on all aspects of leadership and talent management. She brings more than 18 years of experience in the assessment of leadership capabilities and potential, for both selection and development.
Previously, Ms. Schroeder was talent director for ENGIE, responsible for the company’s talent management strategy. Before that, she worked at International Power Ltd., where she led projects across talent management, leadership development and culture change. During this time, she partnered with a range of blue-chip organizations spanning fast-moving consumer goods, engineering, telecommunications, hospitality and finance.

The Chicago-based search firm formed Heidrick Consulting last year, bringing together a suite of offerings from its leadership consulting and culture shaping businesses. “We have seen the market for consulting services across talent, leadership and culture continue to evolve and grow rapidly,” said Krishnan Rajagopalan, Heidrick’s president and CEO.
