Doyen Search Group Opens to Serve Hospitality and Real Estate Recruiting Sectors

January 15, 2020 – The executive search industry is being disrupted by the entrance of a multitude of new players offering advanced business models and new technologies. The latest: Doyen Search Group (DSG), an executive search firm specialized in hospitality and real estate development, has been launched by Darrell Maxwell.

Serving clients across the U.S., Doyen Search Group said that it guarantees to deliver top talent, from directors to C-suite executives, through a personalized, in-depth process and high level of expertise. “We take a client-first approach at DSG, working with only a few select companies at a time, allowing us to become thoroughly familiar with your company and its culture,” said Mr. Maxwell. “We are proud to officially launch our executive search firm and offer our services nationwide this New Year.”

“The DSG team works closely with each hiring manager, conducting a diagnostic for the role, understanding both the soft skills and hard skills required to be successful,” Mr. Maxwell said. “To find the right candidates for each client, Doyen Search Group has cultivated an exclusive network of contacts in the hospitality and real estate development industries enabling the firm to identify, locate, and recruit the best professionals nationwide, including those who may not have been thinking about making a change before being contacted. This strategy, along with leading-edge technological tools, helps DSG deliver a panel of ideal candidates to each client faster and better than competing firms, and the firm is expected to maintain one of the highest interview-to-hire ratios in the industry.”

As a seasoned hospitality and real estate development professional, Mr. Maxwell brings extensive experience sourcing the top talent for key positions and providing strategies to help companies improve talent sourcing processes. Previously, he was with Strategic Resources, serving as vice president and affiliated partner. He helped manage the hospitality and real estate development practice, specializing in corporate and operations positions.

Doyen Search Group serves regional, national and international hotel management companies, hotel ownership groups, chef-driven and corporate restaurant groups, as well as companies that build and invest in hotels, retail, mixed-use developments and restaurants. With offices in Los Angeles and Hawaii, DSG has the capacity to work with clients whose properties span the nation.
