ZRG Partners Names Managing Director In Dallas

January 17, 2017 – Executive search firmĀ ZRG PartnersĀ has named David Sheahan as a managing director in its Dallas office. He will focus on supporting clients in the life sciences, technology and energy sectors, where he has extensive experience.

Mr. Sheahan has enjoyed a long career in human resource services, having served with Korn Ferry since 2008. He has led complex talent management projects for a number of blue chip companies, C-suite executives and boards of directors. Prior to joining Korn Ferry nine years ago, he worked for ExcellerateHRO, the human resources outsourcing business of EDS and Towers Perrin.

According toĀ Randstad Sourcerightā€™sĀ ā€˜Talent Trends Report,ā€™Ā the use of talent and workforce analytics continues to increase, with 73 percent of respondents using this data to create more efficient workforce planning, 63 percent for more accurate mapping and addressing of skills gaps and 56 percent for identifying high-potential employees for development.

The use ofĀ workforce analytics is something HR professionals need to adapt to if they havenā€™t already.Ā According to research fromĀ Aon Hewitt,Ā future CHROs will need to be cognizant of the rapid progress in HR technology, particularly SaaS solutions, to improve HR processes and analytic capabilities.

Recent Additions

There have been a number of other recent additions to ZRGā€™s recruiter base in recent months as the firm continues to expand its industry and functional search specialization offerings.

In November,Ā it named Sharon Stein as a managing director in its financial services, private equity and consumer recruiting practices. She works from the firmā€™s New York office. Ms. Stein has served clients across a broad range of sectors including, private equity, financial services, technology, consumer packaged goods, hospitality, and retail. For the past 10 years she has supported her clients as the founder and president ofĀ Sagamore, NA, a search firm that recruits C-suite executives and leaders in general management, marketing and strategy

ZRG also recently added Philipp Sturm as a managing director and country head of Germany.Ā He works out of the firmā€™s office in Frankfurt and will also serve as a member of the its global industrial practice. Mr. Sturm brings a decade plus of solid and relevant executive search experience to ZRG. Prior to joining the firm, he worked at Korn Ferry in its global industrial practice.

In September,Ā the firm named John McLean as a managing director in its global life sciences search practice with the acquisition of certain assets of Illinois-based consulting practice McLean Consulting. Mr.Ā McLean, who works out of ZRGā€™s Chicago office, has 14 years of executive search experience, served several recruiting firms, including Witt/Kieffer, DHR International and Johnson & Johnson before founding his own practice. ZRG also appointed Samantha Foster as a managing director and member of the firmā€™s global industrial practice. She leads the firmā€™s efforts in theĀ aerospace & defenseĀ vertical, where she has spent more than 12 years supporting clients globally.

The firm added Paul Stefunek to its roster as a managing director. He supports the firmā€™s technology practiceĀ and serve as a member of the firmā€™s industrialĀ and private equity team.Ā Previously,Ā he was aĀ partner withĀ DHR International and before that was chairmanĀ and managing partnerĀ ofĀ paul-lawrence associates.

ZRG also named Alexander Spielberg as a managing director and member of its global industrial and life sciences practice in its Frankfurt, Germany office.Ā Mr. Spielberg previously spent six years withĀ KornĀ Ferry in its global industrial search practice and most recentlyĀ was a partner at European boutique search firm Exgeniam Executive Search Personalberatung KG supporting clients in the life sciences and industrial sectors.
