TRANSEARCH Opens Offices Shanghai, Hong Kong

January 30, 2018 – TRANSEARCH International has expanded with the opening of new offices in Shanghai and Hong Kong. The locations will be led by Addy Lee and Donald Hsu, respectively.

With a corporate general management background and having placed over 500 senior executives into multinationals and Chinese companies, Mr. Lee is described as an astute judge of people and character. He also has extensive experience in M&A advisory and has collaborated with clients such as CITIC Capital and Blackstone, among others. Before joining TRANSEARCH as managing partner, he was managing director and partner at Eric Salmon & Partners, Russell Reynolds Associates, Korn Ferry and Amrop. His practices include digital, healthcare, industrial and strategy & change management.

Mr. Hsu has over 20 years of combined experience in talent management consulting and multinational corporate roles. He has provided executive search and coaching services for clients in the Asia Pacific region since 2001. His search career includes tenures with Korn Ferry, Amrop, Upstream Executive Search Limited and EPC Consulting. His search focus is on senior-level regional assignments in consumer and retail, industrial and professional services.

Continued Expansion

Over the past year, TRANSEARCH has been expanding in other regions around the globe.

In June, the organization opened an office in Sofia, Bulgaria. Krasen Vladimirov leads the office as managing partner of TRANSEARCH Bulgaria. Mr. Vladimirov has more than 15 years of experience in human resources and operational executive leadership positions and focuses on technology, professional and financial services. He has previously worked as a senior consultant for Stanton Chase International.

In May, it added Dilek Gümüslü and Patrizia Fontana as partners in Istanbul, Turkey, and Milan, respectively. Ms. Gümüslü has led assignments mainly in financial services, retail, FMCG, automotive, telecommunications, and industrial goods from mid-level manager to senior C-suite executives. She previously served as a senior consultant with Odgers Berndtson. Ms. Fontana has 15 years of executive search experience. She has a strong focus on the fashion and luxury sector. Most recently, she served as a partner with Carter & Benson Executive Search, where she led its consumer goods, retail, luxury and communication services practices and was cross market leader for marketing, trade marketing and sales.

In March, the firm opened two offices in Brazil, in Sao Paulo and Curitiba. Ricardo Du Pain, who heads the Sao Paulo operation, has spent 15 years in professional services and specializes in the pharmaceutical, consumer goods and high-tech industries. Andre Caldeira, who leads the Curitiba office, has an executive career of more than 20 years. His focus is on technology, communications, education, automotive and retail.

TRANSEARCH also added an office in Paris headed by Anne Chevillotte, who has over 15 years of experience in executive search. Ms. Chevillotte specializes in manufacturing and business-to-business services. She covers searches in manufacturing (packaging, food, chemical, automotive, engineering, medical device) and leisure / travelling. She has worked for TRANSEARCH for the past 15 years.
