The Tolan Group Appoints New Partners
May 11, 2021 – The Tolan Group (TTG) has announced that three of its executive search professionals have become partners in the firm. Kaye Johnson runs operations and finance; Rachel Gauthier leads the client delivery team; and Tim Russell spearheads the firm’s business development efforts across all of its industry sectors. “It’s a special day in the life of a company to welcome equity partners knowing each of them share the same commitment to quality and client delivery that allow TTG to stand out in the sea of the many professional search firms that support our industry,” said Tim Tolan, founder and managing partner. “All three of these individuals have the same passion and desire to overserve our clients and candidates every day and each brings a special skill-set and voice to the table that will allow TTG to continue to grow and scale.”

Ms. Johnson serves as chief operating officer at The Tolan Group. She has been overseeing all facets of the firm since 2005. Ms. Johnson leads the day-to-day operations, major projects and is responsible for all search execution for the firm. She directs the project team responsible for sourcing and qualifying candidates for placement. Since joining the firm, Ms. Johnson has placed C-suite, EVPs, SVPs , VPs and countless individual contributors in sales, marketing, product management, technical and clinical talent.
Ms. Gauthier is vice president and practice leader for the healthcare software and services market and health plan and payer market. As a search consultant she partners with executives and hiring managers to find C-suite executives, EVPs, SVPs, VPs and sales, marketing and product management candidates. Ms. Gauthier has also placed entire leadership teams for early stage companies.
Mr. Russell is vice president and practice partner at The Tolan Group. His primary focus is expanding the client base in behavioral health, healthcare services, substance abuse recovery, healthcare IT, digital health and healthcare portfolio companies owned by private equity/venture capital groups. As a veteran healthcare recruiter of 22 years, Mr. Russell has been involved in over 750 recruitment projects ranging from staff level technologists to physicians of all specialties.
