OverNorth Names Partner
December 1, 2017 – Executive search firm OverNorth has promoted Renato T. Amador to partner. He is based jointly out of the firm’s Chicago headquarters and Washington, D.C. satellite location.
Mr. Amador’s expertise revolves around recruiting transformational analytics, technology and human resources executives. He has recruited senior executives in the fields of analytics, big data, cloud technologies/SaaS, data science, digital marketing, Internet of Things (IoT), mobility solutions and professional services. His experience includes cross-industry functional searches for senior information technology and technical executives such as CIOs, CTOs and VPs of engineering and product management.
Mr. Amador is also an active member of OverNorth’s HR practice and recruits senior talent acquisition and human resources executives. He brings a unique background in developing diverse slates of candidates for board searches, corporate talent initiatives, governance consulting projects and targeted functional searches.
With over 20 years of experience in retained executive search, Mr. Amador has developed and executed strategies on high-profile searches from the vice president to the CEO and board director levels. He joined OverNorth in 2015 from Cook Associates, where he served as senior director of the technology and board services practices. Earlier in his career, he held various roles with search firms Boulware Associates, Spencer Stuart and Russell Reynold Associates. He started his career as an international trade specialist with the U.S. Commerce Department.

Recruiters in the search industry continue to climb the ladder within their respective firms. Here’s a look at a few recent promotions at executive search firms from the Hunt Scanlon Media archives:
Quick Leonard Kieffer named Courtney Lada as managing partner. As the senior-most role within the firm, she is responsible for business development, strategic planning, project management, and team member training and advancement. During her tenure, Ms. Lada has closed more than 100 C-level searches.
Executive search firm Charles Aris Inc. promoted senior director of knowledge management Brian Styers to vice president of knowledge management and communications for his work in leading the executive recruitment firm’s efforts in research, marketing and digital strategy.
In July, Witt/Kieffer announced 10 promotions in its expanding search practices. Werner Boel, based in Atlanta, is now senior partner and leader of the firm’s legal services practice. Melissa Fincher, based in Columbus, OH, is now a senior associate in the firm’s education practice.
Executive search firm Lucas Group has promoted two key players to bolster its ranks. Justin Martinez was named managing partner and leader of the firm’s Chicago-based information technology practice and Aaron Silbert was tapped as branch practice manager to spearhead its HR business in New York City.
Chicago-based executive search firm TalentRISE promoted Allicia Hahn to partner. She joined the firm two years ago as managing director to build client relationships by delivering tailored recruitment solutions to the human resources, marketing, supply chain manufacturing and information technology sectors. She also has assumed a leadership role for the firm’s operational excellence initiative.
