The ExeQfind Group and The QualiFind Group Merge Brazil-Based DRH–Talent Search Into Search Platform

July 29, 2020 – The ExeQfind Group, based in Atlanta and The QualiFind Group, based in San Diego, have recently merged DRH–Talent Search, a retained executive search firm located in Sao Paulo, Brazil, into its search and recruitment platform serving the Americas.

Hamilton Teixeira, an accomplished retained executive search and marketing-oriented executive leader, owned and led the Brazilian firm for over 18 years.

The ExeQfind Group, The QualiFind Group and DRH–Talent Search are long-term members of IRC Global Executive Search Partners, a global alliance of retained executive search and recruitment firms. They cited their extensive service to multinational and SMEs as benefiting from their cross-border networks. ExeQfind and DRH-Talent Search principals served on IRC’s board of directors. Both Warren Carter, senior managing partner of The ExeQfind Group, and Mr. Teixeira cited the value their practices gained through their strategic and collegial partnership with IRC.

Carlos Acosta, senior managing partner of The QualiFind Group, The ExeQfind Group’s sister practice, had s history of cross-border collaboration with DRH-Talent Search that pre-dated the 2011 merger of his firm BPS International with The QualiFind Group. Mr. Acosta and Mr. Teixeira had both served U.S.-based industrial clients with manufacturing, sales and distribution operations in Mexico and Brazil.

A Natural Step

“This merger is the culmination of several years of partnering in support of client search assignments plus mine and Hamilton’s joint roles on the IRC board,” said Mr. Carter. “We earned each other’s trust and gained a deeper understanding of the cultures at play in each of our countries. Given the strong trade and cultural ties between the U.S. and Brazil plus our existing footprint in both the U.S. and Mexico, it was just a natural next step that we combine forces.”

Mr. Teixeira was also enthusiastic about the merger. “After 20 years in executive search and 13 of those with IRC, I am enthusiastic about the synergies we are capitalizing on in this merger,” he said. “Both ExeQfind and QualiFind are well positioned to provide a more integrated service to our clients across the Americas. This is a natural move for me.  It’s not just the personal and professional relationship that I have with Warren and Carlos but also the strong business ties between the U.S. and Brazil. We look forward to providing a seamless and superior service securing high performing talent for our clients in the region.”

Mr. Acosta further lauded the merger. “The inter-country trade and business ties between North America and Brazil are especially strong in the industrial and agribusiness sectors where we have expertise in both executive search as well as professional recruitment,” he said. “I’m very excited about this opportunity to unite our brands and our collective expertise between the U.S. and Latin America’s largest economies.  We couldn’t have predicted the challenges of the coronavirus pandemic, but it’s given us an opportunity to enhance our capabilities to be even better prepared to serve our clients than ever before.”
