The Christopher Group Selected by Penn Highlands Healthcare for CHRO Search
August 3, 2026 – The Christopher Group (TCG), a boutique HR executive search and business solutions recruiting firm, has been retained by Penn Highlands Healthcare to lead in its search for a new chief human resources officer. Managing partner, Molly Mangan, and partner, Carrie Longmire, are leading the assignment.
“The chief human resources officer will play an important role in helping Penn Highlands Healthcare navigate the complexities of a growing health system,” said Ms. Mangan. “More than leading HR, this leader will partner with the executive team to build people strategies that support long-term success.”
The CHRO serves as the senior HR executive and a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for shaping and executing the organization’s enterprise-wide people strategy. Reporting directly to the CEO, this leader oversees all aspects of human resources, including talent acquisition, employee engagement, organizational development, total rewards, workforce planning, labor relations, HR technology, and leadership development.
The role requires a collaborative, strategic executive who can strengthen organizational culture, enhance HR service delivery, lead system-wide transformation initiatives, and align human capital strategies with the organization’s long-term mission, growth, and operational objectives. This is an on-site position based in DuBois, PA. Candidates willing to relocate are encouraged to apply.

She has been instrumental in initiating and shaping searches for mission-critical HR roles, including CHROs, heads of talent, total rewards leaders, and employee relations executives, helping clients design and deliver high-performing people strategies.
