Saenger Associates Tapped by MWS Wire Industries to Find New Leader

June 17, 2019 – Los Angeles-based executive search firm Saenger Associates has been retained by MWS Wire Industries to lead the search for its next president. Mike Nadler, senior vice president of client services, is spearheading the assignment along with Gary Saenger, founder and president.

MWS Wire Industries is seeking a successor to its retiring president to continue to manage the business and spur growth after the company’s imminent relocation to a newly-built, larger corporate campus, said Saenger Associates.

The company wants a candidate with executive management experience in the medical device or aerospace sectors. “The successful candidate will drive market share, leadership, and execution of operations and distribution ensuring operations are aligned with overall corporate business objectives,” Saenger Associates said. “This individual will be responsible to drive breakthrough engineering and operational improvements, while most importantly ensuring global customer satisfaction with high quality products delivered on time.”

The successful candidate will have experience as a president in a custom, highly specialized manufacturing/distribution company that utilizes engineering and technology with a minimum of $25 million in revenue. “Alternatively, the individual is currently a vice president or director ready for the next level in their career,” the firm said. “It is imperative that the person who assumes this role values stability and has job longevity expectation of 15 years or more.”

Key Skill Sets

Ideal candidates will possess experience in one of the following industries: medical devices, aerospace or custom metal manufacturing. Saenger Associates said that the new president should have highly effective interpersonal, people leadership and development skills. “They should have in the past demonstrated success implementing continuous improvement principles, lean principles and six sigma,” the firm said. “Commitment to results with a proven track record of growing revenue and profit is a must. Also required is a high level of integrity, easily adaptable to the existing culture and an egoless team player. The successful person must be a customer-facing executive.”

MWS is a custom manufacturer and distributor. Established in 1968, the company has built its reputation on delivering wire sourcing solutions for its customers. In 2014, MWS became part of the Elektrisola Group, an international producer of fine and ultra-fine magnet wire, whose corporate parent is based in Germany.
