Evolving Role

The chief revenue officer essentially owns everything that goes to market – sales, account management, customer success, and sometimes marketing as well. Finding these types of leaders has kept search firms busy. Here is a sampling from the Hunt Scanlon Media archives:

Todd Greenhalgh and Nick Hoffmire of SPMB Executive Search have placed David Vice as the new chief revenue officer of ChargePoint. “Congratulates our longtime client ChargePoint on the appointment of David Vice as chief revenue officer,” SPMB said in a LinkedIn post. “David’s proven leadership and deep expertise in scaling global sales and go-to-market orgs will be pivotal in shaping ChargePoint’s next phase of growth as a leader in the EV charging space. It is always a pleasure to collaborate with the ChargePoint team on these strategic placements, and we’re excited to see David drive continued innovation and success for the company.”

As we continue to expand globally, enterprises will continue to face volatility in all markets and it’s our aim to provide the technology and ecosystem support to ensure our customers can meet their business goals efficiently.”

The Millard Group, which focuses on building executive teams for venture capital and private equity backed growth stage technology companies, has placed Brian Lamberger as the new chief revenue officer of Nuspire, a managed security services provider in Commerce, MI. “The addition of Brian to our team marks a significant step in our strategic growth initiatives,” said Lewie Dunsworth, CEO of Nuspire. “He’s the right person and the right time as we pioneer new and innovative services for our current and future clients.
