Scott Sammon

Scott is a Managing Partner at Quick Leonard Kieffer. He works with clients to successfully manage C-level search assignments in the healthcare provider and not-for-profit sectors, and has personally led nearly fifty chief executive officer searches. In the role of lead consultant to clients, Scott often provides design and structure strategies to ensure long-term organizational success. He serves as a consultant to both association and hospital boards, and has acted as facilitator for board retreats for numerous organizations. Scott began his career in executive search in 2000. In addition to a long tenure with Quick Leonard Kieffer, he spent five years leading the healthcare practice at another large international search firm. Scott’s expertise comes from working with a variety of clients over the past fifteen years, including critical access hospitals, some of the largest public health systems in the country, academic medical centers, and community hospitals – healthcare providers of nearly every size and governance structure. Prior to entering executive search, Scott managed the operations of a mid-size manufacturing firm for over five years. He began his career in the sales and management-training program of a large Fortune 500 company, rising through the ranks for nearly five years. Scott holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Human Resource Management from Loyola University in Chicago, Illinois. He is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management, the American Society for Healthcare Human Resources Administration, the American College of Healthcare Quality, and the American Society of Association Executives, and has been a certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR).
