Erik Blumberg is a consultant in Caldwell’s Technology Practice and New York office. His primary focus is on recruiting senior executives across a wide range of industries who are driving enterprise-wide technology and digital transformation efforts. He uses a results-based, process-oriented approach that ensures clients are hiring senior technology executives who balance their technical credentials with business acumen in order to help companies grow and succeed.
Experience
Prior to joining Caldwell, Erik served as the director of investment relations for Israel’s Ministry of Economy in New York. He worked closely with local venture capital investors and multinational firms to identify investment and business opportunities with Israeli companies in a variety of industries. In addition he helped startups connect with relevant investors and potential clients, as well as advised them on the capital raising and go-to-market strategies for the US.
Erik began his career as a political affairs advisor to the Embassy of Israel in Australia, where he advised Israel’s ambassador to Australia and other key diplomats in the embassy on strategies for improving relationships with Australian members of Parliament. He also worked on policy research and briefings, as well as speech writing for the ambassador.
Education
Erik has a Bachelor of Arts in politics from New York University.
