Dinkar Farwaha


Dinkar is a consultant in the Toronto office and a member of the Financial Services and Data, Digital and Technology practices. Dedicated to finding the right fit between client and candidate, he works consultatively and responsively with search committees and stakeholders to understand and meet their distinctive leadership needs.

Dinkar joined Caldwell from Russell Reynolds Associates, where he was instrumental in identifying quality executive talent across sectors including financial services, technology, telco, consumer, and industrial products and services. He completed searches for chief digital officers, chief customer experience officers, chief information security officers, heads of payments, board directors and cross-functional searches for C-Suite leaders for leading financial institutions in North America.

Prior to his career in executive search, Dinkar was a senior strategy consultant at Franchise India Holdings, Asia’s largest franchising company. During his tenure he was responsible for the overseas market entry of brands such as City of Oxford, Little Kickers, Sweet Jesus and Pink Woman. Before that, he worked as a market research consultant with Victora Automotive. Through primary research, he built feasibility studies that were approved by financial institutions and aided in the company’s expansion into the hospitality sector through its flagship hotel project, Radisson Blu Greater Noida. He began his career as a journalist with Indian Express Newspapers, reporting on the travel and hospitality industries.

Dinkar received an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh (Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business) and a B.Com in finance from the University of Delhi. He also received a post graduate degree in English journalism from Xavier Institute of Communications.
