Carlos has extensive experience recruiting impactful senior leaders across multiple industry sectors, with a strong focus on companies seeking transformational growth. For the past 25 years, he has helped companies build brands and develop relevant customer strategies through emerging technologies in digital and analytics.
Within today’s landscape, Carlos advises clients that seek to leverage advanced technology (AI and machine learning) to drive relevant market and customer decisions. His search practice spans across the spectrum of commercial leadership functions for financial services, consumer, fintech and PE-backed companies. He is also a leader engaged in the firm’s diversity and inclusion initiatives with deep expertise and knowledge among diverse leaders.
Experience
Prior to joining Caldwell, Carlos had a 14-year executive search career in which he led the CMO and Marketing practices at several other major search firms. Before joining the executive search industry, he spent 18 years as a marketing leader, entrepreneur, and consultant working for some of the world’s premier companies including Procter & Gamble, Kraft Foods, and the Zyman Group.
Education
Carlos earned an MBA, with distinction, from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business, as well as a bachelor’s degree in finance, magna cum laude, from Miami University of Ohio.
